Bounce Nightclub NJ

As you drive to Middle Of Nowhere, New Jersey, oh wait it’s actually West Deptford. You will find a club called Bounce, which was the former club, Outer Limits. Bounce is out of the way for the every weekend clubbers that normally hit Philly, DC, and Baltimore.

I wonder if people that go to bounce are even from NJ? Bounce needs to have something to draw more people, their needs to be something beyond the mediocrity. Bounce does have potential.

The club has 2 bars and pool tables. Layout makes it very easy to move around and not feel crowded. The décor is boring and basic because there is no real use of colors, and no themes. The lighting is kept averagely low key. Plenty of seating is a plus; at black bistro tables, and black chairs at the bar.

The bar moves drinks quite well and the bartenders are attentive, especially Kristen. The drink prices are moderate and the drinks itself aren’t too shabby. The dance floor there can hold about 75-100 people, but only held no more then 25 the whole night because no one dances here. It is hard to enjoy the half naked strippers when they only have two that alternate and are very repetitive.

The music is a probably the biggest problem that Bounce must
overcome. Music ranged from 1985 to maybe 2002. No hot/current- club
anthems, hard house, or trance. Being on the dance floor makes you feel as
though you broke out your old cd, and put in the electric slide.

The DJ Jame Foks did hear, “ this music sucks ” many times as the horrible set was played. Foks responded with, “ this isn’t easy why don’t you guys get up
here and press all these little buttons.”

The drag show, as they would like to call it, was featured midway through the night. Drag queens need to be on top of their game if they are going to perform and move a crowd, the ones I saw were horrible and consisted of some of the worst drag queens I have seen.

The crowds fashion sense here is dull, taken into consideration there isn’t
a dress code. Bounce patrons need to be refreshed with a little mix of
individuality and current trends. Seeing so much Abercrombie, boring tee
shirts, hats, and plain jeans gets old fast. You don’t have to be rich to
brush up on your fashion sense.

The girls that attend dress much better then the guys, even though the ratio of guys to girls was like 5 to 1. Walking in and not feeling the intimidation that people feel when they enter bigger, more pretentious clubs can be a plus.

I have visited this club a few times and I never knew what to
expect. Trying to understand the nightlife at Bounce is difficult because
they don’t seem to be consistent with its crowd. Maybe I went to Bounce at
the wrong times. I can never really say that I have had a great time here;
it’s just been an ok time at an ok club with ok music.

Bounce does feature 18+ crowds, which is great and can help draw more people who are attracted to the younger crowd. An average security team is always present and always keeping an eye. The 1st and 3rd Friday of every month is liquid ladies night and ladies over 21 receive free cover until 11.

The 2nd and 4th Friday is male mania night and over 21 guys free until 11. The ladies night is focused on pleasing the women with female exotic dancers and vice versa for the men.

The club needs to get new music or replace the DJ, update the lighting and maybe update the interior. If you like a more casual club with good bar service and your not worried too much about a variety of dated music then give bounce a try.
