SYN, located in the heart of the Gold Coast bar and restaraunt district at 1009 N Rush, keeps the discotheque flame alive after Jilly's Retro Club passed the torch.

SYN is short for Synergy, which defines this club precisely. Synergy brings together the high class lounge and the exciting atmosphere of a disco. It also brings together the young crowd as well as the old.

My recent visit there was overall a good one. Music some hate to admit they listen to or like, but when they are there they are dancing amongst the rest and singing along to their favorite Saturday Night Fever tracks.

A great escape from your house scene if your looking for a night to get away and enjoy some classic music and modern decor and drinks. Yet you are close enough to all your other favorite clubs with Vision, Le Passage, Moda, all within a short walk.

SYN was designed by the same team, Slick Design, that brought you the eye catching, timeless modern European designs of SoundBar and Ghost Bar.

My party experienced the much talked about "SYN experience" first hand. We checked in at the door under our guestlist and was escorted in to the club and led to our private table aside the dance floor. We were presented with a drink menu with SYN specialty drinks called the "Seven Deadly SYN's". Included are drinks called Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, etc.
